As Taiwan approaches the era of a super-aged society, the application of aging-in-place technologies in residential settings has become increasingly important. Since 2024, the Institute has been promoting the “Verification of Aging-in-Place Technology Products and Services in Residential Environments” initiative. Through the establishment of verification methods and real-world testing, the initiative aims to reduce barriers to the adoption of aging-related technologies in homes, enhance user acceptance and willingness to adopt, and ultimately realize technology-assisted aging in place.
To showcase project achievements and foster collaboration among industry, government, academia, and research sectors, the Institute is organizing the “Forum on Innovation in Aging-in-Place Technologies for Residential Environments.” The forum will focus on emerging trends in aging technology applications within residential settings, value propositions of related products and services, practical experience sharing, and cross-disciplinary expert discussions on future prospects.
The event will feature three keynote speeches and one expert panel, with distinguished speakers including:
