Mock-up testing and wind tunnel laboratories, ABRI, MOI. pass the new version(ISO/IEC 17025:2017) assessment by TAF.

The Taiwan Accreditation Foundation (TAF) is the only body in Taiwan recognized by Government for the accreditation of conformity assessment against international standards. As a not-for-profit and self-funded organization, TAF offers third-party impartial, independent and transparent assessment services. The TAF accreditation symbol is recognized and supported by Government and industries.
But ISO/IEC 17025:2017, General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories, has been revised the new version on Oct. 29th, 2017. According to the standard, TAF announced a new Chinese version on Feb. 15th, 2018.
Then TAF promulgates: laboratories must convert the old version(2005) into the new version(2017) in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and have to get the accreditation of TAF. The regulation of TAF: All laboratories have to transfer the new version completely before Sep. 30th, 2020. The laboratory which can’t pass the new version by TAF, its original TAF accreditation symbol will become invalid. If that so, our mock-up testing and wind tunnel laboratories will be affected and our test reports will not be recognized by international laboratories.
In order to pass the new version(2017) by TAF, our laboratory obtains all necessary TAF application forms, TAF requirements and policy documents from the web site or directly from TAF. The on-site assessment is performed on Nov. 21~22th, 2019. Our laboratory responds to four non-conformity with a written corrective action response.
After the corrective action is reviewed by TAF technical staff and once complete, the application is forwarded for accreditation decision. At present, our laboratory accreditation(2017) is granted on Dec. 16th, 2019. Our laboratory can use TAF accreditation symbol, our test reports will still be recognized by international laboratories.
